Comparison between the Rich and Poor
There are almost 11 million people living in poverty in El Salvador. When we talk about the middle class, there are 1.8 million people in our country. So why are there only 1.8 million people in the middle class of El Salvador when we have 11 million people living in poverty?
If we look at the economy in the past twenty years, we see that our country has grown very little. One of the reasons is that we don't have stable policies for creating new jobs. And if you look at our government policies, they are basically unconstitutional, because they interfere with individual freedoms.
They are taking away our freedom in order to protect their power. The government has put the principle of "something for something" into effect. They don't like to spend money, so they take more and more money from the citizens. They have fixed prices, and they put price controls on products and services. This is one reason why there are more people in poverty.
We have to be aware of the fact that you have to be a thief to have a decent income. You have to be a thief, because these people get their money through stealing from others. You need to be a thief, because they have laws, and those laws are in favor of the rich. If we don't have laws that help the poor, the rich are going to be the most powerful people.
We have to be aware that we have to have very strong laws. We have to be strong, and we have to put more money into the government. If we don't, there is going to be a poverty gap. This country doesn't have money to create social programs. And the rich people are in power. And if you don't have an income, and you have a family, and you have kids, they are going to go to prison.
